GB Deaf Swimming Club young swimmers continue to set higher standards for future generations with more records over the summer period while our senior swimmers rewrote the records at the Deaflympics.
10 Year old Nathan Carrington & Ryan Carstairs (12) both set a new 50 breaststroke records in their age groups.
12 year old Letisha Ellis broke her own 50 metre freestyle record while 13 year old Libby Gotta set new times in 50 Back, 50/200 Fly as well as 400 Freestyle again highlighting her ability across the disciplines. Lucy Jordan-Caws(14)broke the 50 Fly record both long course and Short course and added the 100 & 400 I.M. records.
Our Cat A swimmers were also among the records with Keara Hemsworth (11&U) claiming the 100 Fly, 200 Breast, 200 I.M. & 400 Free & 12 year old Keira Grainger grabbing the 50 Breast along with the 50 & 100 Backstroke.
For the boys Harvey Spoor had an amazing July setting 10 records (50/100/200/400 Free, 50/100/200 Breast, 50 Back & 100/200 I.M.)
