DEAFinitely Inclusive objective:
The new DEAFinitely Inclusive accreditation scheme aims to increase the number of deaf people playing, coaching and volunteering in sport by working directly with sport providers. The scheme is open to sports clubs and leisure facilities, and will support them to be more deaf inclusive in their delivery of sporting opportunities. Organisations that take up the scheme will work with UK Deaf Sport to improve the access and provision of sporting opportunities for deaf people at their club or facility. On completion organisations will be given accredited status as a DEAFinitely Inclusive club or facility, and be awarded the new quality kite mark. The DEAFinitely Inclusive accreditation scheme and quality kite mark is the latest addition to UK Deaf Sport’s community programme and is supported by Sport England’s Inclusive Sport Fund. more details at http://ukdeafsport.org.uk/uk-deaf-sport-launches-new-quality-kite-mark-and-accreditation-scheme-to-improve-deaf-sport-provision/ The GB Deaf Nationals next year will be held as part of our spring training camp and in a joint venture with NDCS.
