Congratulations to Danielle Joyce who successfully flew the flag for the GBDSC in the Deaf International Short Course Championships in Rochester, New York State USA. where she set 4 Deaf World Records. Danii proudly stood on top of the podium no less than 5 times to the sound of the National Anthem as she beat the worlds best deaf backstroke swimmer from Russia who had won all three gold medals at the Sofia Deaflympics in the 50, 100 and 200 metres with the Deaflympic double silver medallist also behind her. Danii also won gold in the 200 and 400 Individual Medley as well as silver in the 100. A silver in the 100 freestyle and bronze in the 50 and 200 events completed her medal haul.
