The recent edition of the Swimming Times has a great article following the teams success in Russia and the club would like to thank Nigel Seamarks for his efforts in having this published. Copies can be purchased from WH Smiths or online at Swimming Times website.
GBDSC The GBDSC has been nominated as team of the year at this years DSPY set for November. Oliver Kenny (16), Lucy Walkup(17), Danielle Joyce(18) and Jack McComish (19) have also been nominated for individual awards in the young Sports Person and Sports Person categories. This is great news and shows how well the club are doing.
GBDSC GBDSC are pleased to announce that Richard Lees has been appointed as
Vice-Chairman of the club and also takes up the position of Liaison with NDCS to promote deaf swimming. GBDSC GBDSC has appointed Rob Holdbrook as Membership Secretary and he we wish him well in the role. One of his first tasks will be to collect the 2014/2015 fees which are now due for the forthcoming season which runs from (1 September 2014-31 August 2015). A new form should be completed with an up to date audiogram posted to Rob who's details are in our "Admin" page
