GB Deaf Swimming are proud to report that we will have 9 Swimmers representing Great Britain at the 1st European Deaf Youth Games which is to held in Hannover, Germany.
The competition will take place from the 17th August , finishing on the 22nd August with Heats & Finals across the 6 days.
The team is made up of 4 girls & 5 boys all experiencing International Competition for the first time as part of their development in what is hoped will be the first stage in many years of competing for GB, as we look to the future and the next Deaflympics in 2029
The swimmers will be accompanied by 3 club officials providing Coaching & support for the duration of the event and many parents will be travelling also to provide much needed additional support in true GB Deaf Swimming style.
