AUTUMN TRAINING WEEKEND/AGM 2026 - York
26th & 27th September
We are pleased to announce this Years Training Weekend will once again be in York.
The weekend will follow a similar format to last years event with very similar timings . Further details will be sent out to all via the clubs email shortly but should you wish to enquire about the weekend and becoming a member of the GB Deaf Swimming Club please send an email to our Chairman at [email protected]
The popular Saturday evening Social will once again be making an appearance to see if anyone can beat the Headcoach at Tenpin Bowling!!

Autumn TRAINING Weekend/AGM - York
18th & 19th October 2025
Alongside the Training we will also be holding our AGM for all parents to attend. This is where you get to have your say so please should you wish for anything to be added to the agenda, send me the information so I can add accordingly.
Below are the Timings for the weekend:
Saturday
90 mins of Pool Time from 10am till 11.30am @ York Leisure Centre
90 mins Studio time for Land training from 1pm till 2.30pm @ York Leisure Centre
90 mins of Pool Time from 3pm – 4:30pm @ York Leisure Centre
AGM to be held following the Land Training from 2.30pm @ York Leisure Centre
Sunday
120 mins of Pool Time from 10am – 12 noon @ Yearsley Swimming Pool
Also back by popular demand will be the Social event on the Saturday evening which as previous years will be Ten Pin Bowling. This is for everyone and is a great opportunity for swimmers & their families spend time together socially. There may even be a small trophy up for grabs again 😊

For those of you arriving by Rail you can catch the Bus to the Park & Ride station located adjacent to the Stadium. It is currently Bus no. 9
