Congratulations to 14 year Libby Gotta who has added 4 more English short course records to her already impressive tally at such a young age. She set new times in the 200 Free, 200 Back, 200 I.M. & 100 Fly. Fantastic!

What a start to 2019. Senior swimmer Nathan Young(19) set a new GB short course record in 200 fly at his county championships while Nathan Carrington (11) set long course age group records in 200 free, 200 breast & 50 fly winning bronze. at the Rotherham graded meet in Sheffield while at the same event Letisha Ellis (14) set long course age group records in both the 50 & 100 Breaststroke on her way to winning 3 gold a silver & 2 bronze. Libby Gotta also 14 grabbed the 200 breaststroke record and added the 100 fly as well as the 200 I.M. at the City of Derby level 1 open meet. Libby also set new English short course records in both the 400 free & I.M. at the county championships. Well done everyone. fantastic!!

Gala Entry Pack What a fantastic night at the Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground in Manchester on Saturday 10th November at the DSPY 2018 awards. GB Deaf Swimming walked away with two under 18 special achievement awards for Shiona McClafferty & Matt Oaten and Head coach Sam Chamberlain grabbed the Coach of the Year award. GB Deaf Swimming was also awarded the Team of the Year prize for their efforts over the past 2 years. The top award for Deaf Sports Personality of the Year 2018 was tense with 2 swimmers. 2 golfers a cricketer & a snooker player all holding their breath for the announcement based on 6 judges and voting by the audience on the night. In 3rd place Shabir Ahmed (snooker) in 2nd place Oliver Wilcox (Cricket) and then the moment to cap of a fantastic night for our club.
